Salish Sea Conservation

Anything else you’re interested in is not going to happen if you can’t breathe the air and drink the water. Don’t sit this one out. Do something. You are by accident of fate alive at an absolutely critical moment in the history of our planet.    –Carl Sagan

Water quality in general has been under assault by irresponsible humans for a long time, not just the drinking water, but all water-ways around the Salish Sea. As time goes on, this subject becomes increasingly important for everyone in the community. We will research this more and take water samples from around the Salish Sea for testing. In the beginning, we would only concentrate on the Whatcom County areas, but in long term we intend to expand the research and education to include as much of the Salish Sea as possible with permanent anchor sites at various locations for a regular route of testing, documentation and garbage removal.
